The Arbor saved and is saving our son's life. We have known about The Arbor for several years and feel extremely blessed for our son to experience this level of compassion and caring. Recovery is a difficult choice for a person with an addiction disease - it is much easier to stay sick than to open one's heart and mind to learn new ways to live and love life. Even for those of us who may not have an addiction disease - change is challenging to embrace. Our son is living again; our son wants to live again. There is a twinkle in his eye and he is learning again that hope truly exists. With the holistic programs at The Arbor, this is a very different experience for our son; he is learning recovery from different perspectives and methodologies. We know that there is something different about The Arbor in a very positive way - staying in treatment is a choice for the person with the disease. Especially when someone is a young adult in our society today, if they choose to stay in treatment to get help, that is a reflection of the program they are involved in and a testament to the healing power of letting go and letting God. The Arbor's client's family members are offered continued support activities and interactions to help facilitate healing for all. Our experience with every single person from Administration, Counselors, Therapists and Staff has been welcoming, honest and beyond generous. We encourage those who need help to reach out to The Arbor. As those who are reading this know, addictions can ravage your loved one's life and the lives of those who love the addict. Never give up. Never give up. I know that it is not easy. Have faith and trust in God. He opens new doors when you are at the end of your rope and when you least expect it. Trust God and never give up. One day at at time. . . .

This place saved my life. I have been to a couple different treatment centers before and this one was where the miracle happened. The staff is great and easy to relate to, the counselors are awesome, the people who run it are deeply involved in the program. All around great experience. It was cool having a case manager actually help take me through the steps. A lot of people I went through with are still sober which is rare. They have the residential program, extended care and sober living so they are there to help every step of the way if need be. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone battling addiction or alcoholism.

I had the opportunity to experience The Arbor's Behavioral Healthcare recovery program. I am absolutely sure that this treatment faciity helped save my life. I was a hard-core alcoholic/ addict that had no shot at being successful in life. I was homeless, hopeless, and wanted to die. The Arbor's program taught me about the disease of alcoholism and addiction as well as the behaviors that accompany it. The Arbor not only saved my life, it showed me how to be a responsible and productive member of society. I'm eternally grateful for the care and instruction they provided me with. This is a great facility and if you have a loved one who is struggling with getting clean and sober, I highly recommend this program. I have 2 yrs clean and sober and the miracle is, I WANT TO LIVE !

Place changed my life. I completed 90 days at their residential and 90 days at the extended-care. 2 and a half years later my life looks completely different. My mom has her son back, my sisters have their brother back, and I get to be there for my family and friends. Due to the experience, strength, and hope of the staff at the Arbor and the in-depth understanding and application of the 12-steps that was shared with me, I get to live a life filled with purpose and contentment. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity and experience I had at the Arbor and wouldn't trade it for the world!

The Arbor saved my life. I was by no means a compliant or diligent client, but they gave me the grace, patience, and care I needed to recover from my addiction. The Arbor’s continuum of care continues to be helpful for me to maintain my continuous sobriety over a year later. From the residential treatment center, to the extended care program and sober living, I’ve had an amazing experience with The Arbor and highly recommend it to anyone seeking help.

I will be indebted to this place for the rest of my life. My fast track to self destruction was redirected in a major way due to this program. Incredibly grateful to cross paths with this organization as a whole, and all of the individuals that make it what it is.

The Arbor and their staff are examples of what an ethical treatment facility should be. The measure of an excellent service always starts at the top. I know Brian Samford and many members of the Arbor Family. I use the standard in the recovery industry that the Arbor has set as a sounding board for the decisions that I need to make in my own business. Every time I reach out to Brian Samford for advice he takes time out of his day to talk with me. I am incredibly grateful for the standard that the Arbor lives by and the love that they pour out to my family and me. If you are looking for a place to get help and be shown the tools of how to live a recovery-centered life, I highly recommend you calling and talking to one of their admissions specialists. They will go to any length to make sure that they can be of service to you. -Robert E. White Jr. | CEO and Founder of Any Length, Recovered for Life

I had the pleasure of going to the Arbor in 2014 and I’m happy to say that I’m still sober and living the life that I’ve always dreamed of.

My 19 year old son went to the Arbor, and I felt his treatment and the family program were better than any I'd found in the area. But be aware, when sending a loved one, especially a young adult, with dual diagnosis, I was told he would receive EMDR therapy while inpatient. He did not. I was then told he would have the same therapist throughout the continuum of care, He did not. When I was told not to contact my son, I agreed, with the caveat they would be checking on him every 30 minutes. They did not. He is, thank God, still sober today, but he walked away from extended care, while supposedly under watch, and they did not know or inform me until 12 1/2 hours after he left. My son has epilepsy and a heart condition. I trusted. I should never have stopped talking to my son. I am very grateful for the inpatient care he received, but the extended care was not worth the $5,000 a month I paid for it. While in iop, the patients do not have enough to occupy them each day, and I could have had someone with him every minute, those months, and had him in an iop, for the same money. I highly recommend the inpatient, but strongly recommend against looking to extended care or their continuum after, simply because they did not deliver what they told me they would.

This program has the most outstanding staff, my son was a patient there and one of the things I can promise anyone who gets treatment there that there is absolute hope for yourself or your loved one. My son was a disaster for 10 plus years and Brazos completely turned him around so he really understood what addiction is and that he is an addict but recovery is possible and a reality. Again the staff here are the most amazing people I have ever met and I am so very grateful what Brazos has done for my son which is giving him a chance in life to be happy and remain in recovery there is life after addiction.
